I wasn't sure about the crumpled texture at first, but in person it feels almost like soft paper and the shadows it casts are mesmerizing. It sits perfectly on my shelf with a single branch of eucalyptus.

I was a bit worried the pleats would look busy on my shelf, but the way the light moves across those frosted ridges is actually really calming. It's got a nice weight to it that makes it feel sturdy, and the matte glaze feels lovely to touch.
