チャコール ソーサー

The piece feels wonderfully organic in the hand, exactly like the description says—the dense clay has a real fingerprint texture. The charcoal glaze shifts from deep black to soft grey depending on how the light hits it.

The way the light catches the charcoal glaze creates these beautiful shifting greys and blacks. The small size is perfect for a morning espresso, and I love feeling the maker's imprint in the dense clay.

I was a bit worried the irregular shape would be too rustic, but the gradations of charcoal gray and black are surprisingly elegant on the table. It holds my espresso cup perfectly, and the handmade feel adds a nice quiet character to the morning.
