The irregular glaze creates a beautiful matte finish that catches the light differently from every angle, and the subtle gray-black tones make my meals look more intentional. It’s heavier than I expected, which feels sturdy in the hand.

The handprint in the clay is visible along the rim, and the charcoal glaze shifts between matte black and smoky gray depending on the light. It feels heavier and more substantial than my everyday bowls, which makes the soup stay warm longer.

I keep reaching for this bowl for everything from soup to morning yogurt, and the irregular rim makes it feel handmade rather than factory-stamped. The dense clay holds heat surprisingly well, so my soup stays warm to the last spoonful.
